Privacy policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026.

The short version: this site collects almost nothing, shows no ads, and sets no tracking cookies. Here is exactly what happens to anything you type in.

What we collect

Feedback form (the guide page). The message itself, the kind of feedback you pick, an optional e-mail address, which page and language you wrote from, and your browser's user-agent string (to tell humans from bots). Your IP address is never stored as-is — only a salted, truncated hash, which is used solely to rate-limit spam and cannot be reversed into an address or a person.

Update subscription. The e-mail address you submit, plus the language and page you subscribed from. That's all.

Visitor statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-first counter. It cannot follow you to other sites and stores no identifiers.

What we don't do

No advertising. No third-party ad trackers or pixels. No accounts or logins. No selling, renting or sharing of your data — there is no one to share it with. No social-media widgets.

Cookies: visitors get none. (The site's editors use one session cookie on a private admin path; it is irrelevant to normal visits.)

Where data lives and how long it stays

Submissions are stored in Cloudflare's managed D1 database as part of the site's own infrastructure, protected in transit by HTTPS. Feedback and subscription records are kept until the site owner deletes them. If you'd like your message or e-mail removed, write to hello@2cn.com from the address in question and it will be deleted — no questions asked, no forms to fill.

Submitted e-mail addresses are used for one purpose only: the policy-update notices you asked for (a few messages a year at most). Every notice will include a way to unsubscribe.

Changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date. Questions about anything above: hello@2cn.com.
