About 2CN.com
2cn.com is an independent, four-language travel guide for people visiting China without a visa — students, business travellers, and curious passers-through in the 240-hour visa-free transit era. It exists in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean, and every language version says the same thing.
What this site is for
China's entry rules have changed faster than any guidebook can keep up with. This site condenses the parts a traveller actually needs — whether you qualify for visa-free entry, how to set up mobile payment before you land, how to stay connected, and what to do in the six cities most transit visitors see — into pages you can read in ten minutes at the airport.
Where the facts come from
Every policy number on this site (transit hours, eligible countries, open ports, power-bank rules) is checked against official sources: the National Immigration Administration (nia.gov.cn) for entry policy and the Civil Aviation Administration (caac.gov.cn) for aviation rules. The footer of every page shows the date the numbers were last verified. When a rule changes, we update all four languages at once.
We are an aggregator, not a government body — nothing here is legal advice, and the official announcement always wins.
How the site is built
Plain static pages — no accounts, no ads, no pop-ups, no cookie banners (because there are no tracking cookies). The whole site loads in well under a second on airport Wi-Fi. Corrections from visitors are welcome and acted on; see the feedback form on the guide.
Contact. Corrections, suggestions, or questions: hello@2cn.com, or use the feedback form on the guide page. See also our privacy policy.
